Senator Price’s priority bill, LB1080 was signed by Governor Heineman today. LB1080 provides a property tax exemption and sales and use tax exemption relating to data centers. This bill will make the area attractive to high tech well paying jobs. Senator Cornett introduced the bill. Senator Price is pleased the bill has been signed into law and is looking forward to seeing the positive economic benefits to District 3 as result.
