Education: Graduate of Wayne State (B.A.), 1960; University of Nebraska College of Law (J.D.), 1966.

Family: Married Joann K. Kratochvil, May 26, 1966; three children: Stephanie, Gregory and Bradley.

Occupation: Attorney, Seiler & Parker, P.C., L.L.O.

Former: Assistant general counsel, Metropolitan Utilities District (1968-69); Nebraska assistant attorney general (1966-67).

Military Service: U.S. Army Reserve (1966-67); Nebraska National Guard, J.A.G. Captain (1967-77).
