Education: Graduate of Worth Co. RIII (High School), Grant City, Mo., 1985; Northeast Missouri State University (B.S. in political science), 1989; Indiana University (Ph.D. in political science), 1995.

Family: Married David Crawford, Jan. 20, 1990; two children: Nathan and Philip.

Occupation: Political science professor, Creighton University.

Former: Research analyst.
