We are Halfway Done!
We are halfway through our 60-day session. The time has passed quickly and as we wrap up our public hearings, we will soon enter full days of debate. Now is the time for strategy as each Senator can have only one personal priority bill, and the Speaker only allows a handful of Speaker priority bills to a few lucky Senators. Many of us will try to amend our bills into other like-minded bills and unfortunately, some bills will not reach the floor for debate. I encourage you to reach out to our office should you need additional information on any of the bills that hit the floor in the next 30 days. It’s going to get interesting and worth a watch if you have the time.
