It was fantastic to hear from teachers and constituents of Districts 11 and 13 last week! Being able to work together with educators, parents, and community members to find the best solutions for our kids is so important. Senator McKinney, Senator Wayne, and I look forward to continuing conversations about educating students and supporting our education system in Nebraska! Thank you to everyone who came out!

The LR141 School Finance Review Committee has begun its work.

T​he meeting schedule is as follows:

• Wednesday, July 7 at 2 P.M. at NCSA
• Wednesday, July 28 at 2 P.M at ESU 10
• Wednesday, August 25 at 9:30 A.M. and 12:00 P.M. at Nebraska Farm Bureau
• Monday, November 15 at 10:30 A.M. at the State Bar Association

The Speaker of the Legislature has posted a memo regarding updated procedures for the 2022 Legislative session

The Legislature will no longer be accepting written, submitted testimony prior to the committee hearing. To appear on the transcript, a testifier must physically appear before a committee and be available to answer questions from the committee members.
